The Marin Arts Council presents this free, outdoor event at San Rafael City Plaza celebrating Marin Arts Open 2010 with performances by musicians, dancers, poets and comedians.
Featured artists include comedian Dan St. Paul; Mark Summer, cellist of The Turtle Island String Quartet; and founding member of The Youngbloods and the original “Hippie From Olema,” Grandpa Banana performing with David Thom. The new Marin Poet Laureate will be announced and outgoing Laureate Albert Flynn DeSilver and poet Terri Glass will also participant in the event.
