Maritime Day 2026: Free Bay Boat Rides + Waterfront Art/Music Festival (Sausalito)

Join Galilee Harbor Community Association—a member-run cooperative marina on the Sausalito waterfront—for its annual Maritime Day on Saturday, August 1st, 2026.

Maritime Day is a family-friendly, admission-free celebration of the vibrant community of artists and maritime workers who call Galilee home. Enjoy free boat rides on the bay, live music throughout the day, visits aboard open boats and historic vessels, delicious fish and chips, homemade desserts, and local artist booths. Boat-building demonstrations will showcase the craftsmanship of Sausalito’s working waterfront. Musical performances from String, Skin, and Breath, Musiq for the Soul, Salt Over the Shoulder, Diogo Sabre & Band,  will provide a lively soundtrack from start to finish. Galilee Harbor is a self-sustaining, low-income cooperative committed to preserving waterfront access for all. Maritime Day is both a celebration and a fundraiser to support this mission and help repair climate-change-related damage to our docks and infrastructure.
