The Mayhem Festival is a touring metal festival and is held during the summer months and the 2012 headliners include Slayer, Slipknot, & Anthrax and a rumored special guest performance by Motorhead.
Since its inauguration in the year 2008, the festival has become an annual event across Canada, Quebec, and United States. The participating bands represent a wide range of genres, including power metal, death core, progressive metal, and death metal.
