Submitted by the Event Organizer
Join local herbalists Tessa Kappe and Bonnie Rose Weaver for an educational herb walk in John McLaren Park! As San Francisco’s second largest green space, McLaren is filled with varied landscapes, charming surprises and scenic views. We’ll be exploring what’s popping up this spring on a mile long stroll through some of the park’s many walking trails. If you’re excited about plant identification, spring blooms, learning about local native and medicinal plants and botanical medicine, come meet your green and human neighbors and learn about the wild edible, native and medicinal plants growing in our midst!
We’ll meet at the John McLaren Park entrance sign at the intersection of Brazil Ave. and LaGrande Ave. in the Excelsior (near June Jordan School for Equity).
