Four complex, disturbing, surreal, and moving new works by Melina Cohen-Bramwell will debut as a part of a weekly Friday night series, MELINA-FEST, beginning September 25th.
Get to know an exciting up-and-coming voice in playwriting and experience a deep and thrilling encounter with true theater that challenges, provokes, and sparks conversation.

In What Is Wrong with the British, Black graduate-level historian, Nadine, really doesn’t want her white professor (/maybe-boyfriend?) to be blindsided when he finds out her dissertation asserts colonialism proves there is something genetically deficient about white people.
Temp Auth, an adaptation of The Tempest, sets Shakespeare’s tempest in a tech company retreat to an island. In a comedy full of revenge capers, Mai Thais, and gay romance, the characters explore the meaning of family and what makes a life complete.
Good White Men centers around two beloved soft-boy podcast hosts, who have incredible success with an advice podcast… until one of the brothers is ‘canceled’ on Twitter for alleged abuse.
And finally, Persephone has fallen into a coma in ????? XXXXX (Jello). Luckily for the research team studying her, she isn’t waking up. They use the opportunity to delve into their work, the result of which could save lives and change the world. And under the circumstances, what does it matter if there’s a little collateral damage?
