Memoirs are hot right now. Come listen to authors of 4 different types of memoir read from them at “Memoir & Prosecco,” Friday, March 9, from 7 pm to 8:30 pm at 4175 24th St. in Noe Valley.

After the readings, journalist and memoir instructor Mary Jo McConahay will lead the authors Erika Atkinson, Andrew Chen, Linda Myers and Ramon Sender in a discussion of the why and how of writing a memoir. Free prosecco bar to keep the ideas flowing. Free admission. Book signing follows. A Word Week 2018 event.
