Remember those lost this weekend at the Rape of Nanking Redress Coalition’s memorial service for Pacific War victims from 1931 to 1945 this Saturday, September 10.
Along with the memorial service, there will also be a panel discussion and Q&A with members of the 2011 China Study Tour and a screening of the documentary film “Torn Memories of Nanjing” by Japanese film maker Tamaki Matsuoka, which will be screened in California for the first time, and chronicles the Rape of Nanking through stories from both Chinese survivors and Japanese soldiers who committed the massacre.
