The 2025 Merced Field of Honor, hosted by Rotary Club of Merced Sunrise at Merced College will take place Nov. 9–16 2025 on the Merced College lawn, transforming the space into a moving tribute with 2,025 American flags. Each flag honors a veteran, active-duty military member, or first responder. Now in its 12th year, this event combines solemn remembrance with community celebration. Highlights include educational tours for students, the annual Run for the Fallen on Nov. 10, and the debut of the U.S. Merchant Marine flag. With 300 volunteers and deep local support, the Field of Honor continues to unite Merced in gratitude, pride, and remembrance. The event is free to the public.
