Grab your running shoes and join nonprofit Fresh Start Surgical Gifts at the Mermaid Series San Francisco run on Sunday, April 12! With multiple distance options, participants can compete in a scenic 10-mile run across the Golden Gate Bridge, a 10K or a 5K. Kids can also join in on the fun by participating in the special Mermaid Dash.
Mermaid Series is a women-focused initiative rooted in Title IX and dedicated to expanding opportunity and equity in sports. Through community-driven events like their San Francisco race, the organization empowers women and girls to build confidence and connection, inspiring them while celebrating the joy of crossing the finish line.
Both men and women are able to participate in the race, and 100% of every donation made through the registration link will directly benefit Fresh Start Surgical Gifts, the official nonprofit partner of Mermaid Series. Based in San Diego, Fresh Start provides free life-changing surgeries and medical treatment to disadvantaged children around the world living with deformities.
