In this contemporary reimagining of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, the timeless story unfolds on Cupid’s Isle, a reality TV dating show where four contestants compete for love. Behind the scenes, Hermia defies her parents’ wishes to marry Demetrius, risking everything to be with Lysander, while Helena’s unrequited love for Demetrius stirs up even more drama among the contestants. Meanwhile, the production team scrambles to create a surprise wedding performance for Hippolyta and Theseus, the host of Cupid’s Isle and the Executive Producer, leading to a series of unexpected mishaps. Among the island’s residents, Oberon and Titania, embroiled in a bitter custody battle over their child, use magical interference to manipulate the contestants’ relationships and further their own rivalry.
