Celebrate migrant power and the unveiling of a mural tribute to recent migrant movement victories and sheroes with art, music, poetry and great comida y cultura from noon to 2 pm on Sunday, August 9, 2015.

The group 67 Sueños painted truth to power in celebration of the power and dignity of this movement.

Mural Image Highlights:

  • Undocumented activists and allies stopping the ICE Bus in direct challenge of “Secure Communities”
  • Undocu-Youth sitting in on campaign offices pushing Obama to offer DACA
  • Domestic Worker Womyn who fought for and won the California Domestic Worker Bill of Rights
  • Coalition of youth workers, migrant justice advocates, PIC resistance folks and more who came together to defeat Oakland’s proposed gang injunctions in the streets
