Cafe Royale hosts Monday Night Happy Hour Comedy with host Cara Tramontano and a full lineup on comedians including Alex Koll (Comedy Central, SXSW), Emily Heller (Punchline, San Jose Improv), Dhaya Lakshminarayanan (5 Funny Females, The Comedy Store) and more. Free, but there’s a tip jar with a lonely dollar bill at the bottom looking to party with some presidential friends.

Alex Koll
– “He performed in the “New Faces” showcase at the prestigious Montreal Just For Laughs Festival, garnering a “Best of New Faces” nod. He appears on Comedy Central’s “Live At Gotham” 2009 season, and has also performed at the SXSW, Vancouver, The Bridgetown Comedy Festival, SF SketchFest and the Bentzen Ball. As a filmmaker, Alex has created award-winning videos for IFC.com, SuperDeluxe.com, Revision3, and Rooftop Comedy. Alex is also the two-time winner of the San Francisco Regional Air Guitar Championship.”

Emily Heller – “She placed 2nd in the 2009 Bay Area Laugh Leader Competition and the 2009 San Francisco Women’s Comedy Competition. She has performed stand-up all over the country, including the San Francisco Punch Line, the Purple Onion, the San Jose Improv, 142 Throckmorton in Mill Valley, the Seattle Comedy Underground, and the Joke Joint in Minneapolis. Festivals include Bridgetown Comedy Festival, San Francisco Sketchfest and the Sacramento All-Sketch Festival. She also played the dubious counter clerk in Saturday Night Live’s digital short “Lazy Sunday.””

Dhaya Lakshminarayanan – A regular of the nationally-touring “5 Funny Females” show and a mainstay in the Mahatma Moses Comedy Tour, Dhaya has performed in Gotham Comedy Club, LA’s Comedy Store, the SF & Sacramento Punchline clubs and the San Jose Improv. Dhaya is also the television host for “High School Quiz Show,” on PBS’s WGBH in Boston.
