Monday Free Comedy Night with W. Kamau Bell | Tendernob

Join host Cara Tramontano at the Tendernob’s Cafe Royale for a free monthly Happy Hour Comedy show.

Held every second Monday of the month, this September’s line-up includes award-winning comedians Loren Kraut, Jules Posner and San Francisco Punchline host Brendan Lynch. So come out for some coffee and free comedy, and spend what you saved on some in-house soju or sake cocktails.

W. Kamau Bell has appeared on HBO Canada and told the first Barack Obama joke on Comedy Central, which is now listed in their “100 Best Obama Moments.” Kamau has performed in the Montreal Comedy Festival and Aspen Rooftop Comedy Festival, and is a member of the Laughter Against the Machine tour. He has been honored as San Francisco’s Best Comedian by three different publications: 7×7 Magazine (2010), The San Francisco Bay Guardian (2010), and The San Francisco Weekly (2008). The SF Weekly also profiled him in a cover story in 2009.

Mark Zhang has appeared on Comedy Time TV and NBC’s Last Comic Standing, and is a member of Bay Area comedy group The Cocky Asians. Mark was a finalist in the San Francisco Comedy Competition and at the Northern California Improv Comedy Competition.

David Studebaker won the 2009 STC Young Comics Competition and is creator of the popular Young Guns of Comedy. He has appeared at the San Francisco PunchlineComedy Club, San Jose Improv and Mill Valley Throckmorton theatre.
