Monsters vs. Robots: The Art Show | Mission Dist.

In May, City Art Gallery will be showing work by 30 artists, including new work featuring Monsters by artist Johnny Botts, alongside his signature robots. He says, “It’s part of the ebb and flow where elements come in and out of my art. I hadn’t expected to be bringing back bananas, cherries and strawberries, but I’ve been playing with vintage Chiquita banana stickers as a backdrops, and one thing lead to another.”

Opening Reception: Friday, May 1, 7-10 pm. Show runs April 29 to May 31, 2015.
