Monterey Open Farm Tours: Goat Feeding, Tamales + Berry Picking (Watsonville)

Excitement is in the air! Get ready to be part of something extraordinary at the Monterey Open Farm Tours, where farmers open their farms to the public for a day of fun activities.

This event gives you an opportunity to learn about local agriculture (with a dash of fun) AND support a small local farmers.

Here’s what you can expect:

• All farms will host a farm tour to talk about their farm and answer all your questions!
• At My Organic Farm you will have the opportunity to harvest a beautiful bunch of flowers and eat out of this world tamales
• Need your yearly fix of cute animals? Feed Antonia’s goats and chickens
• Have you ever seen a chicken race? Now is your chance! Antonia, owner of Dulce Organic Farm, will have a chicken race with autographs from the fastest chickens in the county
• Join us at Magaña Organic Farm to harvest and try the sweetest blackberries and raspberries ever

People are required to check in upon arrival at a farm and will get their hand stamped at the first farm they visit. The hand stamp is good for check-in at all other farms for the day.
