Spend quality family time with Mom during an extra-special BikeAbout Guided Tour of the SF Zoo on Mother’s Day, which will focus on what maternal care looks like throughout the animal kingdom. And as an extra special treat after your 60-minute ride, you will get to meet our family of giraffes which includes a mother and her two daughters, and get the opportunity to feed them.
Pre-registration is required and participants must provide their own bikes and bike locks. No strollers or scooters, please. All bikes need to be outside the zoo by 10:00 am when we open to the general public. Please have locks with you, to secure your bike(s) to our bike rack, if you plan to re-enter the zoo for the day. Any age peddlers who are riding their own bikes are required to purchase a full ticket. Only young children who are riding in a child’s seat or trailer (piggy-backing), qualify for free admission.
