Join the mountain lion project staff and volunteers Nature Guides to learn all about the secretive mountain lion neighbors and their role as top predators in the natural communities. Please note, you won’t likely see one, but you”ll learn all about them.
Mountain Lion Hike & Games
Every Saturday, May 5 to July 28, 2018 | 10 am to 4 pm

Mountain Lion Hike Activities:
- Hike 8+ miles of trails
- Learn from nature guides
- View abundant plants & wildlife
- Visit newt ponds
- Discover natural wonders in their Curiosity Room
- Picnic under redwoods
- Shop the nature bookstore
The preserve is open for exploration from 10 am – 4 pm every Saturday through the end of July. Mountain lion hikes begin at 11:30 am and 1 pm, with optional games afterwards for families, then stick around to have a picnic, go on a longer hike, enjoy the bookstore and Curiosity Room, and visit the ponds.
