World-renowned filmmaker and professional skier Chris Benchetler brings his immersive film Mountains of the Moon to San Francisco’s Presidio Theatre for two exclusive screenings on October 1 and 2, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. This unique experience features a live performance of the film’s Grateful Dead-inspired score by Terrapin Family Band with special guest Eric Krasno, followed by a standalone second set of music. Combining cutting-edge night cinematography with improvisational energy, the event explores the connections between sport, nature, and human consciousness.
