The Truhlsen-Marmor Museum of the Eye is hosting its inaugural Movie Night: Sherlock Holmes (2009)
The evening begins with a lecture about the real-life medical influences behind Sherlock Holmes, and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s surprising connection to ophthalmology. Before becoming one of the most famous authors of all time, Conan Doyle trained as an ophthalmologist – making his story an intriguing subject for the museum.
After the talk, settle in for a screening of Sherlock Holmes (2009), starring Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law.
