Free Movie Nights | America’s Cup Park
The America’s Cup Park is hosting free outdoor movie nights at the Plaza located on Piers 27/29 at America’s Cup Park along the Embarcadero throughout the summer.
Cozy up on their bean bag chairs, bring blankets and enjoy the movie. There will usually be snacks, ice cream, drinks, and popcorn available for purchase.
Catch the first America’s Cup movie night featuring the 1966 surf movie, Endless Summer on Wednesday, August 7, 2013.
They will be hosting a special introduction and poster signing by director, Bruce Brown, and world famous surfer, Wingnut. Endless Summer is the crown jewel to ten years of Bruce Brown surfing documentaries. Brown follows two young surfers around the world in search of the perfect wave, and ends up finding quite a few in addition to some colorful local characters.
Introduction will begin at 6:30 pm. Movie will follow.
