Movies on the Square 2026: Free Double Features Every Thursday (Redwood City)

20 years ago, we said it was gonna be big. Turns out… we were just getting started.

From Movies on the Square to Shakespeare under the stars, Redwood City Events became more than a series. It’s the soundtrack of this city. And 20 seasons later? Yep… we’ve still got it!

20 years strong, Movies on the Square lights up Redwood City again in 2026! Beginning June 4, Courthouse Square becomes a vibrant open-air cinema every Thursday for fourteen big weeks, featuring free double features for all ages. Start your evening with family-friendly films at 6pm or independent shorts at 8pm, then stay for a lineup of iconic classics and newly released full-length films at 8:30pm. Be sure to catch our special Soccer on the Square Community Watch Party on June 25!
