Event Details

Enjoy a festive concert and support music in the public schools.

San Francisco City Chorus, the Chancel Choir of Old First Presbyterian Church, and the Golden City Brass Quintet join forces in a benefit concert for Music in Schools Today (MUST), a nonprofit organization that supports and develops music education programs that increase student achievement in San Francisco schools.

The concert, under the direction of Larry Marietta and accompanied by organist John R.S. Walko, presents a sonic feast of music for two choirs, brass, organ, and timpani in celebratory works by Orlando di Lasso, Giovanni Gabrieli, César Franck, Ralph Vaughan Williams, and more. Audience participation is welcomed in a rousing sing-along of Handel’s “Hallelujah Chorus.”

Admission is free, but your donations in support of MUST are encouraged.
