Music in the Park | Los Gatos
Join the Los Gatos community for Music in the Park on Sundays from June 16-August 25, 2013 on the lawn in front of the Los Gatos Civic Center.
Bring a picnic, some beer and wine (yes, you can drink in the park), or get something from nearby restaurants which promise to have picnic specials during Music in the Park.
Oliver “Tuku” Mtukudzi is a Zimbabwean musician. Mtukudzi began performing in 1977 when he joined the Wagon Wheels, a band that also featured Thomas Mapfumo. Their single, “Dzandimomotera,” went gold and Tuku’s first album followed, which was also a major success. Mtukudzi is also a contributor to Mahube, Southern Africa’s “supergroup.”
