Please join for a family-friendly hike in your national park to celebrate National Take a Hike Day on November 17, 2019 at 10 am.

National Take a Hike Day is an annual event designed to get you outdoors for some fresh air, scenery, and exercise. Hikes in the Presidio will be co-lead by park staff and volunteer Trail Ambassadors.

  • Trail: Presidio Promenade
  • Highlights: US Park Police Horse Stables, Crissy Field Overlook, Pet Cemetery
  • Challenge Level: Easy to Moderate (some hills, all paved trail surfaces and sidewalks)
  • Length: 2 miles
  • Heavy Rain Cancels
