2019 National Public Gardens Week | Bay Area

The annual National Public Gardens Day takes place this year from May 13-19, 2019 with 500+ gardens, including some Bay Area gardens, offer free admission or special deals.

Enjoy the beauty of the gardens while learning about each garden’s commitment to education, research and environmental stewardship.

Remember, many gardens will require you to show their garden coupon in order to get their special National Public Gardens Day offer. Click on individual gardens to get the coupon.

Please note, we have been experiencing difficulty accessing the list of 2019 participating venues on the National Public Gardens Day website.

On Thursday, May 16th you can drop by and make your own mini succulent dish garden.

There will be a variety of succulent cuttings and pups to choose from. Bancroft potting soil and potting vessel are also provided. Feel free to bring your own embellishments.

Workshop is for children and adults. Free admission, but there is a $5 cost per dish garden payable at the admissions kiosk.
