Event Details

Featuring artist and museum educator Miki Hsu Leavey.

Let’s play with lines and shapes in unexpected ways!

Inspired by works by Claire Colette and Rhonda Holberton.

With simple tools, artists of all ages will learn to create texture, rhythm, and dimension by spacing lines, varying pressure, and applying shapes. After creating drawings with graphite, we’ll turn our negative shapes into a colorful collage.

Miki Hsu Leavey has three decades of experience in arts education. She has developed and managed programs and workshops for museums such as SFMOMA, di Rosa, COPIA, and the Napa Valley Museum.

Free and open to the public, suitable for all ages.
