Guests for the 9/12 show include:
Justin Lucas – San Francisco native Justin Lucas commenced his pursuit of stand-up comedy in March of 2011. In that same year, he opened for well-known comics, like Bobby Lee, Rex Navarrete and Alec Mapa. Additionally, Justin has successfully entered a number of competitions, advancing in each one. He became a finalist in both the 2011 Rooster T. Feather’s and the Battle of the Bay Comedy Competition; a semi-finalist for the 2012 Tommy Ts Comedy Competition and was fourth runner-up in the 2012 Bay Area Black Comedy Competition. His most recent achievement, however, was advancing to the semi-finals for this year’s 37th annual San Francisco International Comedy Competition.
Johan Miranda – Since his comedy debut in September of 2010, Johan Miranda has performed at L.A.’s famous Comedy Store, Cobbs Comedy Club, the San Jose Improv, & the 142 Throckmorton Theatre. He placed 2nd in San Francisco’s 2011 Walk the Plank Comedy Competition and has been featured in the 2012 Santa Cruz Fringe Festival. He is terrified of spiders. Johan currently produces & hosts the Laugh Function comedy show every 2nd & 4th Saturday, 8:30 pm at Pappy’s Grill & Sports Bar in Berkeley (2367 Telegraph Ave).
Daryus Monday – Daryus is a high-energy comic who will have you rolling with his hilarious facial expressions and body language. His comedy albums are available on iTunes, Amazon, and BestBuy Digital.
Rich Dreyling – Smart enough to be a linguist, but dumb enough to join the Marine Corps during a Republican administration, he uses his working class Midwestern background and his Berkeley education to form a point of view on the world that will not fit in anywhere. San Franciscans call him, “obstreperous, and retarded.” Or they would if they used those words. Midwesterners, marines, and his family call him a “hippy elitist Obama lover.” Somewhere in it all, he manages to piss off both sides of the spectrum, though not always equally. Either way, he makes them think.
Nathan Habib – Nathan has performed with national headliners such as Arj Barker, Rich Vos, Mark Pitta, Jim David, and Moshe Kasher.
Plus Hayden Greif-Neill will perform.
