Noise Pop: Lil Tuffy Gig Poster Retrospective | Hayes Valley

February marks the release of Lil Tuffy’s 500th gig poster since his first poster in 2012. The exhibition features rare and landmark posters for bands including Sonic Youth, The Raconteurs, Devo, X, and events such as Noise Pop, Treasure Island Music Festival and CBGB’s 30th Anniversary.

This show coincides with Noise pop’s 20th anniversary. Tuffy has curated the Noise Pop Poster Series since 2004.

San Francisco based designer and printer Lil Tuffy has been designing gig posters for local and international touring bands since 2002. His work has been exhibited in galleries and festivals all over the US as well as Canada, Mexico, Germany, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Serbia, and the UK.
