Noise Pop 2019 Music & Art Festival | SF

The Noise Pop Festival is San Francisco’s (and Funcheap’s) favorite indie music and art festival.

Now in its 27th year, Noise Pop has brought early exposure to many emerging artists in the Bay Area and beyond, many of whom have gone on to widespread acclaim like the White Stripes, Modest Mouse, The Flaming Lips, Death Cab for Cutie, The Shins, Bright Eyes, Best Coast, Jeff Tweedy, The Dodos, Girls and Antony and The Johnsons.

Over the course of a week, from Monday, February 25 to Sunday, March 3, 2019 transforms the Bay Area into a festival ground with multiple events taking place across the city each night. 2019 highlights include performances by Beirut, Yuna, Bob Mould, Princess Nokia, Petit Biscuit, Teenage Fanclub, Albert Hammond Jr., Baths, Tourist and many more.

Join Bender’s for a Noise Pop Happy Hour on Saturday March 2, 2019 from 5 pm to 8 pm featuring, Molten, ViQueen, and High Winds. This show features some of Johnny Davis’s favorite local bands.

Doors open at 2 pm; show begins at 5 pm.

VIQUEEN is an all-female powerhouse featuring heavy sound and thoughtful melodies. While based out of San Francisco, their roots are widespread. The conglomeration of backgrounds results in a unique sound that highlights elements of East Coast Metal, Americana, and the Riotgrrrl movement.
