“NZO” African Styles at Home and Abroad (Oakland)

NZO means Home in Kikongo. We are trying to bring African styles into your home. We hold painting workshops 2 Sundays a month and paint furniture and add on African designs/patterns. We also recover chairs with African fabric and stuff pillows. These pieces of furniture add a pop of color and cheer into any home!
Uhuru Furniture & Collectibles has been in Oakland for over 30 years. We are a 501(c) Non profit that is an economic development project of the African People’s Education and Defense Fund (APEDF) who’s mission is to bridge the economic disparities faced by black people.
