Oakland Symphony presents Lost Romantic Symphonies – shining the spotlight on Romantic composers with the rarely-performed Joachim Raff’s Symphony No. 3. which debuted in 1870 in Weimar.

In addition, Kelly Hall-Tompkins (Acclaimed by the New York Times as “the versatile violinist who makes the music come alive,”) performs the U.S. premiere of Sigfried Matthus’ new violin concerto.
The Youth Orchestra will join Oakland Symphony for Gershwin’s Cuban Overture, following their return from a successful tour of Cuba.
