This election year, #oakmtg contributers are organizing a social media debate with the purpose to engage as many Oakland residents as possible in the 2014 Mayoral Election.
The Live Forum will be held August 21, 2014 from 7-9 pm at City Council Chambers, 1 Frank Ogawa Plaza, Oakland. The forum will be shown live on KTOP Comcast Ch. 10. Uverse Ch. 99 and livestreamed on the KTOP website.
The questions will be based off of public submission. The most popular questions will be asked during the Live Forum.

The #oakmtg debate planning team will not endorse a candidate, nor encourage individuals to vote for a particular candidate or issue. They just want to spark resident interest in candidates and offer a unique way to interact with them, via social media.
