Sing, exchange stories and eat free s’mores at a bonfire on the beach until midnight with YeaShOre, a local Jewish organization that throws bonfire of reflection parties around the Jewish New Year and High Holy Days.
Everyone is welcome (in other words, you don’t have to be Jewish) to come and enjoy the roasted potatoes, onions and kosher marshmallows. There’s also a short Havdalah ritual an hour after sunset, but you’re not required to join in and can instead feel free to come and simply enjoy the bonfire and food.
But don’t forget to bring your inspiring stories of change, songs, drums and other musical instruments, along with some potluck-type fare and something to burn as a way of letting go of it.
Directions & Meetup Instructions:
- 6:30p to 7p: Meet at the Beach Chalet at 1000 Great Highway, between Fulton St. and Lincoln Way.
- After 7p: Cross the Great Highway from the Chalet, go to and down the ramp (not any stairs)
- Look for a colorful fish windsock
