Join Oakland Friday, December 14, 2018 to celebrate the grand opening and ribbon cutting of the Old Oakland Holiday Ice Rink with City Of Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf and District 3 Councilperson Lynette Gibson McElhaney. Entertainment will be provided by Sterling James and DJ Eternal of KBLX.

Oakland Central brings Downtown Oakland its very own outdoor holiday ice skating rink, the Old Oakland Holiday Ice Rink on the corner of 9th and Washington, in one of Oakland’s most beautiful and iconic neighborhoods. Celebrate the holiday season and bring in the new year on the ice

Parking

There are many parking options in Downtown Oakland including street parking, surface lots, and parking garages. All street parking is $2.00 per hour, and the City recently upgraded its parking meters to Smart Meters that accept credit cards and coins.
