Join San Francisco’s leaders for an online forum and community conversation about the future of child care amidst COVID-19.

The importance of child care is more evident than ever before. How can we responsibly ensure that the needs of children, families, educators, workers, and the greater community are met? How do we protect the most vulnerable? What affects has the pandemic had on child care and early education in San Francisco?

Local officials and leaders in the city’s early care and education community will discuss the current need and state of early care and education in San Francisco, the financial and workforce gaps of the industry as well as the risk and state of early care education during and post COVID-19.

Board of Supervisor Representative – Norman Yee
Children’s Council of San Francisco – Gina M. Fromer
Early Care Educator – Pat Sullivan
OECE Representative – Graham Dobson
Moderated by Melissa Haft, Children’s Council Associate Board Member
