Event Details

The 22 artists in residence at the Cubberley Artist Studio Program are excited to finally welcome the public back to their studios! Come meet the artists, tour their working studios, see their art and participate in some hands-on art activities during a special Open Studios event on Saturday, Nov.13 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Come see the incredible diversity in style from these talented artists who will be in the E, F and U wings of the Cubberley Campus, located at 4000 Middlefield Road, Palo Alto.

Leading up to the Open Studios event the Cubberley Artists are releasing limited edition works as part of their collaborative project called ArtUp. Free prints are being distributed around town leading up to the event and the first 200 visitors at the Open Studios event will receive their own limited edition free risograph print from one of the participating artists. The prints will also be on view in the F4 studio during Open Studios. For more information about this project, visit artup.studio

There will be free hand-on activities for all ages, including a children’s art table in studio U5 by mixed media artist, arts educator and best-selling author Rachelle Doorley, founder of an online space called Tinkerlab which helps families bring the joy of making into their lives. Artist and author Daniele Archambault, with a Ph.D. in Linguistics, will host a Comic Book art activity for all ages in studio F3.
