Opening Reception: The Data at Hand

Submitted by the Event Organizer

The Data at Hand: Data Physicalizations of Earth and Space explores how artists transform complex environmental and social data into tangible, accessible forms. Bringing together newly commissioned and existing works, the exhibition considers how physicalizing data can make our changing planet more immediate and personal. Through materials including fiber, wood, glass, and ceramics, the artists offer new ways of understanding the forces shaping our world and invite us to engage with data through physical and experiential means. Join exhibiting artists at MCAM and celebrate The Data at Hand. Refreshments will be served in the Art Plaza with music by DJ Brown Angel.
