Opera on Tap: Non-stuffy Opera Sung Live in a Bar | SF

Opera on Tap is a non-profit organization whose mission is to break down the stereo-type that opera is a stuffy or an elitist art form, by bringing it to bars.

Local singers let their hair down and bring you into what feels like an after hours back stage party, singing some of opera’s best known and little known pieces in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.

Opera on Tap San Francisco brings the Bay Area’s premiere opera singers to bars and other non-traditional venues. Our mission is to make opera accessible, fun and provocative.

This month, they’re kicking off a fundraiser by toasting the Bay Area’s wine industry – opera-style. Come hear them whine while sipping wine and maybe even winning a few bottles in our raffle.
