CANCELLED: Original Famous Twang Sundays: Live Country Music | Potrero Hill
This Sunday, April 3rd Original Famous Twang Sundays welcomes The Silver Threads, King Columbia to Thee Parkside. The Silver Threads hail out of San Francisco’s bay area. Inspired by greats such as Lowell George, The Rolling Stones, Warren Zevon and Bob Dylan, their music tells stories about life, living and everything in between.
King Columbia is a 5-piece stringband formed in the primordial sludge beneath the streets of Portland, OR. This supergroup of Post-Modern Folk consists of 5 singing multi-insrumental songsmen, with Lucas Biespiel on fiddle, Will St. John on dobro and banjo, Jack Maybe on upright bass, and Joseph Waya and Benny Gilbert sharing guitar, harmonica, and percussion. They are bursting with a raw harmonious energy and would love to entertain you.
