Original Famous Twang Sundays is a free, all-ages concert series at Thee Parkside in Potrero Hill.
Come by every Sunday; there’s always a fresh traditional or contemporary live act and a surprise special to purchase from the kitchen.
On Sunday, July 26th Original Famous Twang Sundays welcomes Secret Town, Blue Diamond Fillups to Thee Parkside.
Secret Town delivers their own brand of original Americana/Rock/Folk music. Starting with a well worn steel-stringed guitar, singer-songwriter Daniel Seidel and vocalist Leslie Bailey weave melody and harmony into songs of superheroes and small towns, wagon trains, beauty queens, whiskey bottles and long goodbyes. Lead guitarist John Harris builds his own amps to deliver signature guitar tones while bassist Russell Kiel and drummer Steve Pearson combine talents to drive the Secret Town Sound…
Blue Diamond Fillups was formed in 2009 as a foot stomping, roots rock and country revue. Blue Diamond Fillups pays homage to the pioneers of 1950’s rock and country music. We play unique arrangements of songs from the likes of Johnny Cash, Roy Orbison, Gene Vincent, Ronnie Dawson, and Elvis, among others. Blue Diamond Fillups’ set list of over 3 hours of music has audiences up and dancing at music festivals, car shows and nightclubs throughout Northern California. We have entertained and energized audiences over the years and are always adding to the growing fan base of Blue Diamond Fillups devotees.
