CANCELLED: Original Famous Twang Sundays: Live Country Music | Potrero Hill

> EVENT UPDATE: This event is no longer taking place.

Original Famous Twang Sundays is a free, all-ages concert series at Thee Parkside in Potrero Hill.

Come by every Sunday; there’s always a fresh traditional or contemporary live act and a surprise special to purchase from the kitchen.

Band Lineup | February 2, 2014

Izzy Cox is an anarchist crooner who has coined the style Voodoobilly. Influenced by old movie soundtracks, old time bar room blues, and country singers. Her lyrics are like diary entries, but with stories of serial killers, buckaroo cowboys, snake handlers and sports of nature.

Keith Kenny is a one-man act with layered guitar riffs, foot stomping percussion, blues harp, and emotionally charged lyrics. The New Jersey native is able to emulate the sound of a full rock band with his percussive fingerstyle approach to the acoustic guitar, an array of effects pedals and a mini-drum kit on stage.
