Paramount Theatre of the Arts just might be the most beautiful movie theater on the West Coast. From it’s Art Deco marquee to the gilded seating halls, it just screams classic Hollywood. I once screamed “Classic Hollywood” and it got me a night in the slammer. Paramount hosts a weekly classic movie night that sets the bar for show biz nostalgia.
Even the Oscars would be jealous. Along with a timeless feature, they air original newsreels, cartoons, and previews. Add to that prize-awarding games and a live Wurlitzer serenade, you got a night even your parents will love. This week they will be show West Side Story. Maria!
