My Playground: Parkour & Freerunning | 2019 Architecture & the City Festival | SFMY PLAYGROUND explores how the extreme sports of Parkour and Freerunning change the perception of human movement in urban spaces and buildings. The film follows Team JiYo as they run, climb, roll and leap over the obstacles they encounter in Coppenhagen. Award-winning architect Bjarke Ingels, founder of BIG Architects, is fascinated by the way Team JiYo interacts with architecture and takes the team to his buildings. Ingels watches them as they explore the buildings and unfold their skills -which may be as groundbreaking as the architecture itself.
