Bring home some new spring plants from a local community garden, offered on a sliding scale during the People’s Grocery Plant Sale at the California Hotel in Oakland on Saturday, May 4, 2013.

Browse over 20 varieties of tomatoes, permaculture plants, Southeast Asian herbs, subtropical edibles, and standard vegetable varieties.

And if you can stick around, pitch in a few hours of volunteer work, getting your hands dirty in the garden.
