The first Thursday of every month is free admission to the Pez Museum in Burlingame, a mini-museum where you can find over 500 pez dispensers from the past 80 years.

See the world’s largest pez dispenser and a rare Pez, worth about $5,000, a Mr. Potato Head character, which was taken off the market in 1973 because the small pieces were a choking hazard.

Admission includes access to the Classic Toy Museum, the Burlingame Museum of PEZ Memorabilia and the Banned Toy Museum.

Burlingame Museum of PEZ Memorabilia

This is a small museum run by a passionate collector; expect to spend about 15-20 minutes and you can see the whole thing.
Three Museums Under One Roof
Pez, Classic Toys, and Banned Toys

Burlingame Museum of Pez Memorabilia
The world’s largest public display of Pez candy dispensers. An example of every Pez dispenser released in their 50+ year history is on display.

Classic Toy Museum
Celebrates the timeless and favorite toys we all played with. Colorful exhibits feature toys from the past 50+ years including Tinker Toys, Erector Sets, Lincoln Logs, Mr. Potato Head, View-Masters, Colorforms, LEGOs, and more. Each toy display includes a collection of “Fun Facts” and original advertising artwork.

The Banned Toy Museum
A small collection of rather dangerous toys that were pulled from circulation like Cabbage Patch Dolls that ate children’s fingers, a toy gun from 1959 that caused serious burns, super sharp lawn darts, a nuclear atomic energy lab, and more.
