Bring a portable headset radio, some food, snacks, and drinks, and come dance and hang out with friends and Pirate Radio tunes in Dolores Park on July 12, 2014.
Come to Dolores Park and look for a giant pirate flag. Dancing starts at 3 pm. After Pirate Radio, they’re headed to a house party in the Sunset District.
How are you going to hear the music? You need to have your own portable headset radio (FM), some headphones and some batteries.
They won’t have any speakers, generators, or other huge sound equipment, which means no noise violations and no cops called. They’ll have an FM transmitter hooked up to a 3.5mm audio jack.
There will be a donation jar to help with expenses for equipment (FM transmitter = $45, battery + inverter = $85…)
