Event Details

Come to a screening of the new documentary Plastic Paradise which will be followed by a panel discussion led by Beth Terry, author of Plastic-Free: How I Kicked the Plastic Habit and How You Can Too.

“Plastic Paradise” explores the problem of plastic pollution in the Pacific Ocean. This event will be an introduction to plastic-free living and an invitation to engage in Plastic-Free July.

Plastic-Free July is an annual event that began in western Australia in 2011 and has spread across the globe. It aims to raise awareness of the amount of plastic in our lives by encouraging people to eliminate the use of single-use, disposable plastic during July each year. Please join the Ecology Center and our team of plastic-free activists and organizations in taking the Plastic-Free July challenge and be part of a worldwide movement of people learning how to lower our plastic footprint.
