City Art in the Mission District is hosting an Opening Art Reception is March 5th, 7-10p with a couple of our favorite local artists including two who capture the city of San Francisco through a unique lens.
- Hilary Williams creates screen prints of San Francisco city and building scenes, creatively combining architectural elements with muni and street imagery.
- Johnny Botts (yes, we’re told that’s his real name) paints whimsical paintings on recycled windows of adorable robots who have descended on the city. In the future, San Francisco is still a top tourist attraction. Playful alien robots from the far galaxies come to enjoy all the sights and experiences.
