Come out to the Mission on March 6, 2010 for the Plaza Adelante Grand Opening Community Festival and Resource Fair. This new building, which houses teh Mission Economic Development Agency, offices plus up to 10 nonprofit organizations and commercial establishments, is planning a full day of festivities including music, dancing, entertainment, food and non-profit services, workshops and free tax preparation.
Street Festival will be held on 19th Street between Mission and Capp.
Live performances by:
Bayonics – (a great live hip hop jazz band)
Danza Xitlalli- Aztec Dancers
Live Mariachi Band
11am – Press Conference Confirmed Speakers include:
Supervisor David Campos
Supervisor Chris Daly
Assemblymember Tom Ammiano
State Senator Mark Leno
MEDA will feature workshops on homeownership, small business assistance, and will offer Free Tax Preparation sponsored by Bank of the West throughout the day!
