Event Details

Harkening back to the days of the Beats in San Francisco, enjoy a special jazz and poetry session featuring poets Al Young, Bill Berkson, Sunnylyn Thibodeaux, and many more with Loren Pickford on alto sax & flutes and Lucas Pickford on bass.

The event serves as a toasting & roast for poet laureate emeritus Al Young for his 75th birthday.

At this event, called “A Celebration of Houses,” two large blank canvases will be set-up for the poets and musicians to create a group collaboration of words & images commemorating this event.

Plus we’re told there’s free food.

    4—4:30 pm: Jazz
